HEC’s strengths are focused towards geological and geophysical interpretation ranging from regional evaluations to detailed licence scaled interpretations. HEC can rapidly compile, assimilate and interpret datasets to provide timely and concise evaluations to fit most schedules and budgets. HEC can work either in close cooperation with partner companies and operator led groups or as a fully independent consultant.

Areas of expertise include; data manipulation and loading, geodetics, 2D/3D seismic interpretation, well log evaluation, regional tectonics and structural modelling, facies analysis and sequence stratigraphy, remote sensing (primarily satellite interpretation, but also covering MT, CSEM, gravity and magnetics).

HEC’s prime exploration software tools are Kingdom and GeoTeric, however previous experience has been gained in Petrel, DUGInsight, Landmark and Geoframe packages. In addition, HEC has experience in log interpretation packages (Geolog, Terrastation, IP and PowerLog), GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo and GlobalMapper) and modelling packages (GoCad, EarthVision).
